Smart SystemsMore glass, less frame.
Visoglide Plus sliding
Visoglide Plus is the slider for when you want glass rather than frame. A slimline sightline of 34mm where two panes meet, U-values down to 1.4 W/m²K, and a British Standard Kitemark against PAS 24:2022.
Why people choose a slider over a bi-fold
A bi-fold gives you a fully open wall and a stack of frames at one end. A slider gives you a much thinner line of frame when it is shut, and a large fixed pane of glass to look through the rest of the year. Most openings are shut far more often than they are open, which is the argument for a slider and not many people make it out loud.
Sightlines
The slimline interlock is 34mm, standard is 83mm. That 34mm is where the money goes on a Visoglide Plus, and it is what you notice from inside the room.
Thermal performance
1.4 W/m2K with a 1.0 centre pane, down to 1.1 W/m2K with a 0.7 centre pane. The glass specification moves that figure as much as the frame does, so if you are chasing a number for building control, tell us the target and we will work back to the unit.
Security
A British Standard Kitemarked system, KM 530838, against PAS 24:2022, with compliant multipoint locking options.
