The number that matters

A Signature door leaf is 60mm thick. A standard GRP composite door leaf is 44mm. That is a sixteen millimetre difference in the part of the door somebody would have to get through, and it is the single most useful thing to know when you are comparing quotes.

Security, in figures rather than adjectives

The locks achieve PAS 24:2022 and Secured by Design, and conform to BS3621. The cylinder is three-star Kitemarked and Sold Secure Diamond standard, and carries a four thousand pound lock guarantee. The locks are cycle tested two hundred thousand times. Three heavy duty hinges, each resistant to eighty kilograms of pressure, adjustable in three directions.

We would rather give you those numbers than tell you the door is unbeatable. You can check every one of them.

Thermal and weather

U-values of 1.2 to 1.4 W/m2K depending on the design, with two weather seals. Double glazed 6.8mm laminated glass as standard, in PAS 24 approved units.

Finish

Qualicoat approved, marine grade, with a 25 year guarantee on the paint finish and 15 years on the stainless steel hardware. Matt at a 30 per cent gloss sheen, or textured. Twenty-four curated colours, or almost any RAL.
