Designer Door Panels
Designer Panels are the insulated infill that goes into an entrance door frame, rather than a complete door. 28, 32 or 40mm, in three standard sizes or cut to your opening, with a 1.5mm powder coated aluminium skin either side.
What this actually is
Worth being clear, because the three entrance door pages on most fabricators' sites blur into each other. A Designer Panel is the flat insulated panel that sits inside a door frame. It is not a finished door and it is not a door range. If you want a complete door, look at Designer Doors or Signature Doors.
Sizes
900 by 2100mm, 900 by 2400mm, or 1200 by 2400mm as standard, and cut to size otherwise. Thicknesses of 28, 32 and 40mm to suit the system it is going into.
Construction
1.5mm powder coated aluminium sheets bonded either side of a CFC free expanded polycore, rated A+ by BRE. Glazed options are available with or without anodised aluminium trims.
Security, stated properly
Smart describe the panels as PAS 24 assured when used in conjunction with their PAS 24 tested door systems. That is a conditional statement and we are repeating it as one. The panel on its own is not certified, and anyone telling you otherwise is reading the brochure carelessly.
Which systems
Smart's own literature says the panels were developed to complement the Alitherm Plus and EcoFutural ranges. GXG's previous site said Alitherm 400. Ring us before ordering and we will confirm against the frame you are actually using.

The saw, the machining centre and the benches are all in the same unit in Marden. Nothing goes out to a third party and comes back late. If you want to see where your order is, you can stand next to it.
