Series 6 veranda
Series 6 is the glass-roofed veranda: 6mm toughened glass, a projection of up to 3.5 metres and unlimited length, with 4 metres between posts so the view is not cut into sections. Ten year guarantee, sixty year life expectancy.
Glass, not polycarbonate
That is the whole difference between this and Series 16. Glass is clearer, quieter in rain and looks like part of the house. Polycarbonate is lighter, cheaper and spans further. If the veranda is going somewhere you will sit and look up, glass is worth the money.
Span before posts
Up to 4 metres between posts, and unlimited length. That matters more than projection on most jobs, because a post landing in the middle of a patio door is what ruins a veranda.
What it can become
The same system builds a veranda, a carport, a glass room, a commercial canopy, a walkway or an entrance canopy. Entrance canopies come with a traditional or contemporary gutter profile.
Options worth knowing about
LED strip lighting can go in the main bars as well as the gutter on this system, which is not true of all of them, and RGBW is available. Heaters, privacy screens, shading, glass room conversion and a Victorian upgrade are all available. Drainage runs internal, external or spigot only.
Glass options
Clear, grey, blue and bronze tinted, plus UV-active self-cleaning glass. Self-cleaning is the one to consider if the veranda is under trees or hard to reach.
