Shopline shopfronts
Shopline is the ground floor framing system: 50mm profiles, 100mm frame depth, anti finger-trap stiles and Document M compliant thresholds. It is a non-thermal system, and we will say so rather than let you find out at building control.
Say the awkward thing first
Shopline is a non-thermal system. There is no thermal break in the framing. For a shopfront, a school entrance or a severe duty commercial door that is normally exactly right, because the doors are opening and closing all day and the thermal envelope is being handled elsewhere. But if somebody has told you Shopline is a thermally efficient system, they have not read the brochure.
Thresholds
Document M compliant thresholds are available, which is the detail that matters on a public building and the one most often missed at quotation stage. If your job has an accessibility requirement, raise it at enquiry and we will specify the threshold properly.
Doors it takes
Swing, rebated, automatic swing and automatic sliding. The framing also accommodates all Smart windows and horizontal sliders, so a shopfront with an opening vent above it is one system rather than two.
Detail
Anti finger-trap stiles and concealed transom closers as standard, with sightline options at head, midrail and cill so the proportions can be set to the elevation rather than to the system.
