Alitherm Heritage
Alitherm Heritage is the system for period properties and conservation areas: a 59mm sightline that reads like old steel, with a thermal break and a multi-point lock behind it. We cut and build it in Marden like everything else.
Why it exists
Most aluminium windows look wrong in an old building. The frames are too fat and the proportions fight the opening. Heritage answers that with a 59mm sightline and putty-line styling, so the glass line sits where a steel window's would, and the building keeps its face.
What you can have
Fixed lights, single or double sashes, side-hung and top-hung open-out casements, tilt and turn, pivot, and single or double doors including balcony doors. Steel-look bars and glazing bars are available, and matching heritage doors run off the same platform.
Conservation areas
Heritage is specified in conservation areas and on listed building refurbishments, but that is always subject to your local authority. We will tell you honestly whether we think it will get through, and we will not pretend a decision is ours to make.
Colour
Single or dual colour as standard, in the RAL and Naturals ranges, the bespoke Sensations colours, or the Alchemy range of eight anodised matches in gold, bronze, silver, grey and black. Traditional black, anthracite grey and white are the ones most heritage jobs land on.
