AluFence
AluFence is aluminium fencing that does not rot, warp or need painting: five profile options from a 50mm slat to a 240mm jumbo board, an A2-s1 d0 fire rating, a ten year warranty and an expected life of at least sixty years.
Against a timber fence
A close-boarded timber fence is cheaper on day one and gone in fifteen years. AluFence is T6 6063 aluminium with a powder coated finish, an expected lifespan of at least sixty years and a ten year warranty. It is a different purchase, not a more expensive version of the same one.
The fire rating matters more than people think
A2-s1, d0 means non-combustible. On flats, on boundary work near a building, and on anything where a fire strategy is in play, that classification is the reason a specifier chooses aluminium over composite or timber. If your job has that requirement, this is the product.
Profiles
Slats at 50mm, 100mm and 150mm, a 120mm interlocking board and a 240mm jumbo board. Slats give you a gapped, contemporary look and airflow. The interlocking and jumbo boards give you a solid screen. Standard heights are 900mm and 1800mm.
Existing concrete posts
Concrete post adapters are available, so a tired timber fence in existing concrete posts can be replaced without digging anything out. That is usually the cheapest way into an aluminium fence and it is rarely offered.
Gates
Matching gates run off the same profiles, so the gate does not announce itself as a different product halfway along the run.
